European Green Deal

Green Transition and Sustainable Manufacturing

Within the framework of the European Green Deal and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), we provide technical support for the green transition of manufacturers producing for the EU market. In transferring the improvement decisions identified to reduce carbon footprint into production, we develop implementation-oriented solutions for evaluating the technical suitability of low-emission production methods and materials, requalifying welding procedures, and commissioning new processes.

This work is supported by engineering approaches aimed at optimising material use and reducing scrap rates and energy consumption.

Carbon footprint measurement and reporting are outside the scope of our services.

Technical Consultancy

We support production decisions with science-based assessments in material selection, joining technologies and heat treatment processes. This includes the development and qualification of welding procedures, root cause analysis of manufacturing defects, and process improvement studies.

Quality Control and Sorting

We independently assess the conformity of products with technical specifications and standards at different stages of the supply chain. For batches with suspected nonconformities, sorting operations are carried out to separate nonconforming products from shipment and production flows.

Third-Party Inspection

By establishing an impartial assessment mechanism between buyer and manufacturer, we oversee the conformity of manufacturing processes and final products with the relevant standards and contractual requirements. Inspection activities cover visual and dimensional checks, non-destructive testing, and review of technical documentation.

Certification Readiness

We support organisations in preparing for compliance with international standards in welded fabrication and management systems. This covers assessing the current situation against the requirements of the standard, identifying gaps, and establishing the technical basis for certification audits.

Computational Materials Engineering

By modelling material behaviour and production processes with numerical methods, we help reduce experimental workload and strengthen design decisions. Thermodynamic and kinetic calculations, thermal cycle analyses and the prediction of microstructure–property relationships are the main topics of our work in this field.
